About the Founder
Andy Davis, a Santa Barbara local, is a well-known mixologist who is requested by numerous local restaurants and bars — PLUS a private Pilates instructor! Throughout the past 20 years he has tried numerous times to quit chewing tabacco. One morning while surfing, Andy came up with the idea of turning to CBD to help him quit. But because he had become use to the feeling of chewing something, he felt it needed to have the same feeling of a chew product.
Not long after that, Andy created a hemp-based product that combined a loose-leaf chew with the benefits of CBD oil and an overall much more-healthy chew experience. With the backdrop of the Santa Ynez Mountains (also known as the Purple Mountains) in view, Andy named the product Purple Mountain Chew. Now available in 4 flavors, Purple Mountain Chew is perfect for people needing help in kicking the nicotine habit but still able to enjoy the feeling of a chewing experience.
